Okay, I am planning on buying a 2004 or a 2005 Acura TSX 6speed manual....

I know that it's only called a TSX in the North America and in Hong Kong (I think)... But its a Honda Accord in other countries especially in the UK where it's a Euro R!

And comparing all the body parts on the 04-07 Acura TSX... I notice that the body is the same besides the Front bumper... So how come when I go to them JDM sites... They have different parts for the 02-04 and 05-07 Honda Accord Euro R?

Is there a difference in the Headlights and Taillights? I can see that the 06-07 Models, the TSX/Accord has a different Front Bumper from the 04 models (not sure about the 2005)

And from viewing very close, I see that the Acura TSX headlights have amber in it then the JDM Honda Accord version where it's clear!

So if you can help me out here...

Is there a changed in the 04-07 Acura TSX like...

for example theres the 94-97 Acura Integra and the 98-01 Acura Integra where the front and rear bumper was changed + the headlights too?

hello.

much more than the bumpers are different.

there are three categories of the TSX.

04-05
06-08
09-

for this discussion, we'll keep it to the 04-05 and the 06-08.

Differences:

headlights (same size, but different inner side markers, and different HID ballasts)
front bumper (totally different, 06-08 is restyled and it includes fog lights)
hood (the 04-05 has the top part of the grille's trim in the hood, the 06-08 does not)
grille (different sizes, 06-08 is stand alone, the 04-05 has the top trim in the hood)
back bumper (exhaust exits in slightly different spots, bumper was redesigned for 06-08)
side skirts (but these are interchangable, just different designs)
taillights (same size, but different reverse light area, 06-08 reverse light area is tinted slightly)
exhaust (slightly different mounting/exit points)
interior center console (04-05 is black plastic, 06-08 has a really fake cf design, or checker design)
turn shaft/arm (the 06-08 has a foglight switch on it)
rims (same size, different designs)
steering wheel (06-08 added knuckles at 10 and 2 and it is thicker, with a different air bag cover)
-(also the 06-08 wheel has lit up buttons on it that are black, the 04-05 wheel buttons are silver)
some other stuff too.

and lots of technology stuff.
bluetooth
hands free link
tire pressure monitor sensors
other MID controls
satellite radio

so lots of stuff is different between the two year groups.

as for headlights and jdm:
04-05 US headlights have orange turns and orange side markers (with a bicycle reflector design in them)
04-05 JDM headlights have orange turns and smoked side markers

06-08 US headlights have orange turns and orange side markers (without the bicycle reflector design)
06-08 JDM headlights have CLEAR turns and blue side markers

JDM tails have amber side markers
US tails have red side markers

EUDM tails have fog lights built into the reverse lights I think.

many other things to consider as well.

Hondata reflash being one of them.

Getting an 06 would be ideal for you.
I believe Hondata is available on both the 06 AT and the MT

I get confused though.
Super Charger reflash has slightly different years than the
basic Hondata reflash, I get mixed up.

Most people claim that the 06 is the sweet spot for used TSX's.
You get all the goodies minus the TPMS (don't need it anyway)
and tiny details here and there (like the Honda vs Acura logos on the windows).

So I would suggest 06 if you haven't bought one yet.

not positive.

owning an '08 I'm not too keen on the details as much as the '06 and '07 guys
are, but yes, I think bluetooth came around in 06.

What is Hondata?

it is a reflash of the car's ECU.

they basically re-program the computer.
they increase horsepower and torque, and lower the
kick off point of the v-tec mode of your engine to a
lower rpm. therefore you get more power, more often.

makes the car that much more fun to drive.
us with 07-08's are still waiting for them to come out
with a reflash for our cars.

ALSO:
Since 2006 model year, the Acura TSX is making 205 hp. The advertised increased power figures on previous models were over-estimated by +10 hp , the actual power rating is 205 hp The most significant changes to the motor are described as follows:

On the intake side of the TSX engine, the diameter of both the throttle body and the intake duct were enlarged to increase induction flow rate from 95 liters per second to 110 liters per second. In addition the diameter and shape of the intake valve were enhanced to help increase intake flow by 16 percent and the high RPM cam profile for the intake cam was modified to provide increased intake valve lift and duration. In addition, a ventilation passage was machined into the engine block to reduce pumping friction by increasing air flow between cylinders.
